1 - Fixes and Changes in 5.8.2

5.8.2 is a Service Pack and as such it must be installed after the 5.8.1 Service Pack. For new installations of LogiQ release 5.8.0 must be installed first followed by the 5.8.1 and then 5.8.2 Service Packs. 

To describe the features and fixes included in this Service Pack the following notation is used.

Remove Adjustemnt In Payment Schedule Not Working
The Remove Adjustment button now works.

Schedule Future Payments Button in Manual Payments Window To Not Do Pro-Rata
This functionality was producing a pro-rata payment for part periods when generating the future payments for a continuous membership (so they can be manually paid). This did not make sense. So the functionality will now only generate the future payments for payments before the End Date entered in by the user. If the member wants to make a part payment then that still can be done when making a Manual Payment by entering in the part payment amount.

Membership Sale Receipt Settings Not Being applied
When setting up a Membership Sale button in TPOS you can determine if a receipt should be printed or not and using which template. This was not functioning correctly, and now is.

Discount Button Setup in TPOS Not Functioning
The Discount Button setup is now working correctly.
Payment Schedule Not Showing Entries in Customer Manager
This is now functioning correctly.

On Hold Administrator Setting In General Options Not Working
This is now functioning correctly. So you can set Administrator Only Access to doing On Holds and Extensions.

Status Button Not Always Showing The Correct Status
The Status Bbtton was not always showing when a Member was On Hold. Now it is.

On Cancellation Exclude the Cancellation Date In the Pro-Rata Calc
When cancelling a membership the calculations no longer include the cancellation date it self when calculating the final pro-rata payment.

EziDebit Integration
LogiQ now integrates with the EziDebit Payment Exchange to handle your Direct Debits. To use this service you need to obtain a Digital Key from EziDebit and set-up your DD Vendor in System Navigator. When processing your Direct Debits LogiQ will automatically send those payments to EziDebit.

LogiQ now integrates with The Retention People for tracking your Membership and improving Membership retention

1 - Installation

  1. A separate file, install.txt, documents how to carry out an upgrade or a new installation.
  2. During an upgrade the following steps might be taken:
    1. Perform a full back up of the live database.
    2. Create a new TEST database
    3. Test the upgrade on the TEST database
    4. Upgrade the LIVE database
    5. Upgrade the client workstations

3 - Uninstalling

  1. Click Start, and then click Control Panel.
  2. Click Add or Remove Programs.
  3.  Scroll down to "LogiQ 5.8.1", or some other version. click on it, and then click Change/Remove.
